It’s official now. HP has come with latest line of Chromebooks based on Chrome Operating System (OS). These are the HP Fortis 14 G10 Chromebook and HP Fortis 11 G9 Q Chromebook.
The HP Fortis 14 G10 laptops offer 14-inch wider diagonal display. That helps the students to become more productive in their online studies, with clear and larger visuals.
The wider visual display means students have greater freedom to engage with the content while watching their work clearly on a larger bright anti-glare screen.
Apart from these notebooks, here are other PCs HP has announced the launch. The HP ProBook Fortis 14 G9 laptop, the ProBook Fortis 14 G10 laptop, the Pro x360 Fortis 11 G9 laptop and the Pro x360 Fortis. All these PCs offer Windows 11 making it easier to use the system.

According to the company, HP Fortis Chromebooks are designed and built based on the demand of the students. The HP Fortis 14 laptops come with 14-inch display. HP says the Fortis 14-inch G10 Chromebook is “purpose-built for cloud-native learning”.
Coming to the physical design and build, the HP Fortis Chromebooks are very strongly built and have sturdy design. This means these are designed to withstand any rough handling and even shock and drops.
The HP Fortis 14” G10 Chromebook has 180-degree lay-flat hinge. The system also has 88-degree wide-viewing angle HD camera coupled with dual microphones. With this the students will have greater learning experience with these best notebooks students.

The company claims the entire HP Fortis line up is built to handle rough handling by the students. Keypad are also made to provide resistance against spills. Therefore, all models seems very sturdy.
The HP Fortis 14 G10 Chromebook features 14-inch display and is configured with Intel processors. That apart, the PC is also equipped with 4G LTE connectivity. But this is optional.
Both the HP Fortis 14 G10 and HP Fortis 11 G9 Q Chromebooks consist of USB Type-C ports. According the company, user doesn’t need special quality of cleaning wipes and some sort of speial liquid to wipe and clean the chassis, keyboard, and display of the Fortis machines.
They can be wiped and cleaned with commonly available household disinfectant and cleaning wipes.
For the HP Fortis 11 G9 Q Chromebook, the company has the Snapdragon 7c chipset built-in. This means the laptop is designed to enable cloud-native mobile learning.
Integration of 4G LTE connectivity with the machines provides its users an option of using SIM card and access internet. This gives the students an opportunity to learn on the go.
The PC also includes three USB ports, one USB-A and two USB Type-C ports. In addition, it also has 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot.
The other variant in the line-up such as HP ProBook Fortis 14 G9 comes with an option of Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Pro Education and Windows 11 SE.
All these best students’ notebooks are also equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE connectivity. This reliable connectivity lets the students access their classroom anywhere on the go.
There is yet another variant in the series called HP ProBook Fortis 14 G10. This model offers Windows 11, and Windows 11 Pro Education version.
The laptop has 12th generation Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
On the other hand, the HP Pro x360 Fortis 11 G9 and Pro x360 11 G10 laptops have 360-degree hinge design. Both of these PCs also include 5-MP webcams and rechargeable pen support.

As of now, the schedule of availability and price of these notebooks have not been known in the Indian electronic market segment. We hope the company will soon announce the date when these laptops are available in the Indian sub-continent and at what price.

HP has set the starting price of HP Fortis 14 G10 Chromebook at $349 which comes at approximately INR 26,000.
On the other hand, the complete Windows based HP ProBook Fortis 14 G9 laptop will cost $369 at the start. This comes at INR 27,500 approximately.
At the same time, the starting price of HP Pro x360 Fortis 11 G9 PC has been set at $399. This translates into INR 29,700 roughly.
At present, all these models are available in the US.

Prices of HP Fortis 11 G9 Q, HP ProBook Fortis 140 G10, HP ProBook x360 11 G10 are not yet made public.
But it is expected that Chromebook mode will available in the US from June this year, while Windows based variants are expected to hit the market on April 2022.
Similarly, the HP ProBook Fortis 14 G9 and HP ProBook Fortis 11 G9 models with Windows 11 SE may also be available in the market in April 2022,
We have not learnt anything about when the HP will launch its new devices in India. But we are curious to see them soon!
